Best Driving schools in Omaha
Watch to see how we Prepare for Students in a Covid-19 World. Wearing a mask for students is optional.

Class Information

Twenty hours of classroom work and a minimum of 3 hours of in-person driving instruction outside of the scheduled classroom time and up to 5.5 hours are included in both the On-Line Course along with the Zoom Classroom Course.

The entire cost for either class/program is 385 dollars. The student can be picked up for the driving portion from home, work, camp, etc. as long as distance is reasonable (within 10 minutes of Elkhorn).  The environment of the driving is “non-stressful”, no yelling or cursing, just suggestions. The student will be driving around the Village Pointe area, Residential areas, light City Traffic along with Expressways. Parallel parking is also included along with showing the steps of changing the spare and checking under the car hood.

Below is an example of some useful tips we go over in the Course for Beginning Drivers

The On-Line option for the curriculum has been available through De Long’s Driving School since 2007 and was one of the first to offer it in the State and the very first to offer it in the Omaha/Metro area. We have had thousands of students select this option through the years as a viable option to the the Zoom Sessions that we currently offer. This caters perfectly to the Student that has little open time for the Zoom Sessions. This On-Line option is also State Certified and satisfies the same requirements as the Classroom Zoom course. The Student may take this course anytime that works out for them from the comfort of their own home. The in-person driving instruction will be scheduled the same way for both the Zoom classroom instruction along with On-Line instruction.

Please Select this graphic to obtain more information for the On-Line Course.

We will be using some Power Points provided by AAA for the classroom phase along with some textbook work from Drive Right.

The students may prepare to study for the Final Exam in the class by studying the Quizlet questions. You may select this link to access the Quizlet questions to study.
